Kerberosについて About Kerberos
Kerberos（ケルベロス）は、ひとりで iOS アプリを作っている個人開発レーベルです。 もともとは、頭を使うパズルゲームや、日常で「あったら便利」なちょっとした道具を主軸に作ってきました。 最近は、子どもが楽しく学べる学習アプリにも力を入れています。
大切にしていること
- 考える楽しさ。手軽だけど、ちょっと頭を使う——そんな歯ごたえのある体験を。
- 良いと思ったものから学ぶ。世の中の面白いアイデアや仕組みから素直に学び、自分なりに作り直して、長く遊べる形に仕上げます。
- シンプルで長く使えること。一度きりで終わらず、毎日少しずつ遊べる・使えるものを。
- 広告とのバランス。多くのアプリは無料で、広告によって支えられています。それでも遊びの邪魔にならないように気をつけ、子ども向けの学習アプリは、できるだけオフラインで動き、個人情報を集めない設計にしています。
- 公開して終わりにしないこと。いただいた声をもとに、少しずつ良くし続けています。
名前について
ギリシャ神話で冥界の門を守る番犬「ケルベロス」から名づけました。 複数の頭を持つ番犬のように、ひとりでいくつもの作品を育てながら、 学びと遊びの入口を見守る——そんな気持ちで作り続けています。

Kerberos is a one-person studio making iOS apps. We started out building brain-teasing puzzle games and handy little tools for everyday life, and more recently we’ve been putting our energy into learning apps that help children enjoy studying.
What we care about
- The fun of thinking. Easy to pick up, but with just enough of a mental challenge to feel satisfying.
- Learning from what’s good. We take inspiration from clever ideas and mechanics out there, then rebuild them in our own way into something you can enjoy for a long time.
- Simple and built to last. Not a one-and-done—things you can play or use a little every day.
- A fair balance with ads. Many of our apps are free and supported by ads, but we try hard to keep them from getting in the way of play. Our kids’ learning apps run offline where possible and are designed not to collect personal data.
- Kept up, not abandoned. We keep improving each app based on the feedback we receive.
About the name
Named after Kerberos, the hound that guards the gates of the underworld in Greek mythology. Like the many-headed dog, one developer raises many works at once—watching over the doorway to learning and play.
